This is an American Heart Association ACLS Provider/Renewal class. Provider classes that have less than 10 students are 4 hours a day over 2 days with approximately 4 hours of self study required for each day. The Renewal class is incorporated into the second day of the Provider class. We will send you a packet with all necessary materials to complete the class and an outline of what must be studied. We will then reinforce this information in the classroom. All skills stations will be taught in the classroom, as well as testing, e.g.., airway, AED and mega code. The written ACLS final exam is proctored in the classroom as well. The preparation for the class prior to attempting completion is mandatory for successful completion.
The American Heart Association strongly promotes knowledge and proficiency in BLS, ACLS and PALS and has developed instructional materials for this purpose. Use of these materials in an educational course does not represent course sponsorship by the American Heart Association and any fees charged for such a course do not represent income to the Association.
Students will receive 16 hours of CE for the provider course and 8 hours of CE for the renewal course. |
